Discovering Ligurian extra-virgin olive oil Tour Liguria by Volver, specialized in organizing tours and experiences in Liguria, both for groups and individual travellers

  • Discovering Ligurian extra-virgin olive oil

The aims of the tourism proposal, and the objective that the group realizes, are a multimedia report (photos, video, web and social) of the lived experience, a freely composable "story" of the DOP Riviera Ligure and its protagonists.

These are 3 different experiences in order to know and come into contact with one of the main and most ancient Ligurian traditions: the production of olive oil.

In Albenga, Savona province, at the Sommariva Farm, you can spend half a day to learn the secrets of the extra virgin olive oil of the Ligurian Riviera. Listening to the stories of the owner family you will feel catapulted into the Ligurian tradition world, including ancient oil mills and historical museums about this precious product.

A unique experience for all participants!

In Lavagna, at the La Favola della Mignola Farm, you will immediately find yourself in direct contact with the olive grove, immersed in the music of Mozart, which spreads everywhere, according to the owner's philosophy, so as to create the right environment for plant growth. Here you can taste the product in question, tasting it in combination with good homemade bread and a glass of Vermentino DOP wine.

In Lucinasco, Imperia province, the experience of discovering the secrets of the oil will take place at the Cristina Armato farm, one of the first local women-run olive farms. Sensitivity, grace and enthusiasm are transferred in the way of making oil and so a sense of lightness is conferred together with an ancient and natural taste of tradition.

We advise you to contact Volver Tour Liguria directly to book a visit to one of these three wonderful companies!

In collaboration with Ligucibario and DOP Riviera Ligure Oil.
