During the afternoon you will visit Portovenere, an ancient fishermen village, with a local guide. Its most important monuments are: the St. Peter’s church (built on a cliff), the 12th century castle, the Madonna Bianca shrine and the Byron cave, where the English Poet went to look for inspiration.
Then you will get on board of the Zigoela, an ancient leudo: a traditional Ligurian sailing-boat. You will sail along the coast, among typical colored houses and the uncontaminated Palmaria Island, lighted up by the sunset.
Sea breeze and the emerald waters will surround you while discovering the jugged coastline and hidden bays, until the sailing-boat will reach Via dell’Amore. In such a romantic atmosphere, you will enjoy an aperitif with typical products, and have a swim under the moonlight.
