DISCOVERING CORNIGLIA - TRIP CODE: CORNIGLIEN
Time is always tight when you visit Cinque Terre, there are many things to see, to know and a day flies away running from one country to another.
There are itineraries ideal for those who have already visited the area and want to see the area with different eyes or for those who want to do things calmly, get to know the area by walking along the roads less traveled in search of new emotions. Avoid the crowd.
We propose you an original itinerary, which foresees the discovery of Corniglia, a small town that needs time to be visited in order to be appreciated at its best.
- Meeting with the tour guide at La Spezia station and departure by train to Manarola. Guided tour of the village and walk through the vineyards along the path that goes around Manarola.
- Visit to the small village of Corniglia, the smallest of the area located on the top of a rock. We will reach it by train. Remember, however, that from the train station on foot along the road, you will have to climb 350 steps into the village. But the effort will be amply repaid!
- Arriving in the town the atmosphere is always pleasant, the village is less crowded than the others and visitors are mostly trekkers who like to walk along the paths of the Cinque Terre National Park.
- In the afternoon by train you reach Monterosso, and after the guided tour of the village, take the public boat to return to La Spezia. Navigation will be the occasion to see all the Cinque Terre from a different point of view, which will give you the opportunity to discover the cliffs and Portovenere and, finally, the Gulf of Poets.
