TOUR SAIL BOAT IN CINQUE TERRE - TRIP CODE: SAILBOAT
Starting from La Spezia, you will sail the Gulf of Poets to admire the terraced hills, the colorful villages and the rugged natural landscapes of Cinque Terre, a part of the Ligurian Riviera Unesco heritage.
You can try your hand at sailing with the skipper, stop to swim and enjoy a light lunch of Ligurian specialties with wine on board.
The adventure will last about 7 hours around Cinque Terre sea and it will be an unforgettable experience!
You will leave the port through the Gulf of La Spezia, also called the Gulf of Poets for all the famous poets who have visited the Ligurian Riviera, such as Lord Byron. The sailboat will pass in front of the wonderful towns of Portovenere and Lerici and the islands of Palmaria and Tino.
Then it will turn west along the famous Cinque Terre coast, a rugged part of the Italian coastline made up of five picture-perfect towns: Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore.
You can admire the rocky coast and the terraced hills dotted with colorful villages that are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park, a UNESCO heritage site.
Cinque Terre are mostly inaccessible by car, but you can admire a breathtaking view of all the interest's places from the best vantage point: the sea.
In front of Vernazza you will enjoy a light lunch based on local specialties, such as focaccia, anchovies and olives, paired with local wines.
Then, you will resume navigation along Cinque Terre coast, to take a dip in a protected marine area.
