Arrival at the port of Genoa, meeting with the guide and transfer by private bus to the Castle of Grillano in Ovada.
The Castle of Grillano, together with the park with multi-level swimming pool, the Guest House, the vineyards and the cellars, is a sort of village in the vineyards of Alto Monferrato Ovadese.
From the terrace of the Guest House you can see the beautiful vineyards with a breathtaking view.
After visiting the Castle, the producer will guide you to discover the vineyards around the Estate.
The visit continues in the cellars, where you will discover the secrets of the cellar man.
Later we reach the barrel room and the cellar of the large oak barrels, where we will keep the base wines that give life to the selections of production.
The visit ends with a guided tasting of the vintage wines and some fine wines aged up to 10 years in oak barrels and the tasting of typical Piedmontese and Genoese products such as: Piedmontese breadsticks, Genoese focaccia, salami, cheese from Roccaverano DOP with mustard and Grana Padano with honey.
Furthermore, there is a light lunch for the whole group, on the panoramic terrace of the Guest House, with typical local pasta and a glass of accompanying wine.
In conclusion, last look at the Castle with its vineyards and return by bus to the port of Genoa in time for the departure of the cruise.
